Frequently Asked Questions
The pour pattern is too round/not round enough/too big/etc. What can I do?
Contact us. We can make you a custom pour pattern. We are committed to making the Poursteady work for you.
My Poursteady is moving like it’s making coffee but no water is coming out, or water is coming out very slowly and the coffees are not big enough. What’s wrong?
Make sure the Poursteady is connected to the Internet and contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you did not purchase the water heater from us, you may also need to contact whoever you purchased the water heater from.
How do I clean the Poursteady?
Cleaned all exterior services with a damp cloth and a light detergent. Do not use any abrasives as they may damage the finish. Make sure the machine is not activated when cleaning to avoid injury.
How do I remove the rack?
Carefully push the rack to one side as you lift up from the opposite end. Lift straight up until you have enough clearance to pop it out of the posts on the fixed end and remove it.
It’s not draining properly. What can I do?
Check the drain tube for kinks, especially around the hole in the countertop where it passes through. Pour slowly.
How do I know if the app is updating the Poursteady?
Make a change on the app and watch the buttons on the Poursteady. If they blink once all at the same time, it has received the changes you just sent.
I’m installing a Poursteady and it’s not connecting to the internet. What should I do?
Carefully follow the directions from the beginning found in the User Manual in the section titled "Wi-Fi Setup". If it is still not working, run an ethernet cable to your router. You should be able to update recipes from the app to the machine. If you contact us while you are connected, we can help troubleshoot networking issues.
How do I buy one outside of the US?
We only sell direct in North America for now. We will be adding international markets as we go, but we want to make sure that wherever our products are purchased they can be safely installed, supported, and serviced.
